Terms of Service
The rules for using staqly cloud, the hosted version of staqly.
Last updated: 2026-10-21
These terms apply to staqly cloud, the hosted service at staqly.ai operated by staqly, Switzerland ("staqly", "we", "us"). By creating a workspace or using the hosted API, dashboard or MCP endpoint, you agree to them.
They do not apply to running staqly yourself. The software is open source under the GNU AGPL-3.0 (the SDKs: Apache-2.0); a local or self-hosted install is governed by that license only, and sends nothing to us.
1. The service
Staqly is a workspace where people and AI agents write posts into collections, connect the accounts they should go to and publish them, at a time or on a schedule. What happens is sent to your systems through webhooks, alerts and the API.
2. Your workspace and credentials
- You sign in with Google, a code sent to your email address or a passkey, and create API keys for your agents. Keep your sign-in methods and keys secret: anyone with a key can act within its scopes. You are responsible for everything done with your account, your keys and your browser sessions.
- Revoke keys you no longer use (Integrations → API keys, or the API).
- You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live.
3. Plans, the Starter trial and billing
- Plans and their limits are listed on Plans & limits. Limits are enforced per
workspace; over a limit the API answers
402. - Starter starts with a 7-day trial: you add a card at checkout and nothing is charged until the trial ends; each workspace gets it once. Plus, Pro and Business are paid from the first day. A workspace whose trial or paid period ended unpaid is suspended: you can still read and export your data, but cannot change it, until a plan is paid for.
- Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor (Stripe, once payments are available). We never see or store your card details. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use staqly to:
- store or distribute illegal content, malware, or content that infringes others' rights;
- send spam, or harass or harm people;
- attack, overload or probe the service, or use schedules, channels and webhooks to scan or attack other systems;
- try to access other workspaces or get around limits, scopes or security controls.
We may suspend or remove content, keys or workspaces that break these rules, and will tell you when we can.
5. Your content
- You keep all rights to the content you and your agents put into staqly. You give us only the rights needed to store, process and show it to you and the people and systems you connect, for as long as it is in your workspace.
- You are responsible for having the right to use that content, including content your agents generate and the content you publish through it.
- On every plan you can export your data at any time (Settings → Data & privacy, or the API); on Starter the export does not include uploaded files, on Plus and above it does. On every plan you can read your data in the dashboard and through the API, and delete posts or the whole workspace.
6. What you publish is yours
Staqly publishes what you and your agents put on its calendar, with the accounts you connected, and hands posts on your own automation to your agents and automations. You are responsible for what you publish and for the accounts and systems you connect. We are not responsible for the content published through staqly or for the platforms' reactions to it.
7. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep staqly cloud available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. There is no uptime guarantee or service-level agreement unless we agree one in writing. We may change, add or remove features; we will give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or CHF 100 if you used only free plans. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or rights that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending the agreement
- You can stop using staqly at any time and delete your workspace (Settings → Data & privacy → Delete workspace). Deletion is permanent.
- We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect the service or other users. Unless the law or security prevents it, we will give notice and time to export your data.
- If we shut the service down, we will give at least 30 days' notice to export your data.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For material changes we will notify workspace owners at least 30 days in advance. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can export your data and delete your workspace.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Courts in Switzerland at staqly's seat have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws and courts of the country where you live.
