Activity

See everything that happened in your workspace, filter it, and export it.

Edit on GitHub

Activity is the log of everything that happened in your workspace, newest first: posts created, scheduled, published and failed; channels connected; schedules run; webhooks tested. Each entry is an event (see Concepts). Open it when you want to know who did what and when, or to check what your automations were sent.

Find what happened

Open Activity

Click Activity in the sidebar (or in the bottom tab bar on a phone).

Filter

One bar holds the filters. Type an event type (suggestions appear as you type, any exact type works, Enter applies it), pick a date range, or use Add filter to choose an actor, a collection, an actor ID or an entity (post, channel or schedule) ID. Each active filter shows as a chip below the bar; its × removes it and Clear all resets them. Filters are combined and kept in the URL, so you can bookmark or share a filtered view.

Open an event's data

Click Data under an event to see the full JSON payload it carries (the same data that webhooks receive), with the event ID, its sequence number and a Copy data button.

Scroll to the end and click Load older events to go further back. Refresh adds the events that happened since, on top; the older pages you loaded stay as they are.

What each event shows

PartWhat you see
Title and typeA readable label such as Published, the raw type (post.published) and, for channel events, the channel.
ErrorThe platform's or your automation's error, when the event has one.
ActorWho did it: Dashboard (a signed-in browser) with its device name, API key with the key's name, Local (you and local agents, in Staqly Community Edition) or System (the scheduler, the publisher, Stripe, the operator). Session and API key actors show their ID with a copy button.
EntityWhat the event is about, with its name, its ID (with a copy button) and a link: a Post (and its collection), a Collection, Channel, Schedule, Webhook, Alert, API key, Session, workspace Export or the Workspace.
TimeThe date and time; hover for "how long ago".

Filters

FilterOptionsQuery parameter
Event typeAll event types, one of the common types (post.created, post.scheduled, post.published, post.failed, post.publish_requested, post.deleted, channel.connected, channel.needs_reconnect, schedule.ran, schedule.posts_requested, collection.*, api_key.created, api_key.revoked, session.signed_in, workspace.exported), or any exact type typed into the box next to ittype
Actor typeAll actors, Local (you & local agents) (Community Edition only), Dashboard sessions, API keys (agents) or Systemactor_type
Actor IDOne actor, such as an API key (key_ozcbqlxbqgyp3qnkbgjr) or a session (ses_q2vbm4kz7xw3dn5hjr6c). Applied when you press Enter or leave the field.actor_id
CollectionAll collections, or one (archived ones included)collection
Entity IDOne post (post_oalirbz67y4m4cqxq5dw), channel or schedule: its whole historypost, channel, schedule
DatesA date range picked on a calendar (two months side by side; one on a phone) or from the presets Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, This month, Last month. Both days are included and use your browser's time zone.from, to (YYYY-MM-DD)

Credential events (API keys created, rotated or revoked; browser sign-ins, with the access token locally or a person's sign-in in the cloud; recovery-key and access-token rotations; sessions revoked; devices connected and sign-in links created; sign-in methods added, changed or removed: types starting with api_key., session., recovery_key., access_token., device., device_link. or sign_in_method.) are audit events. Only admins see them: the Community Edition's access token, dashboard sessions and keys with the admin scope. Exports leave them out for everyone else too.

The bell

The bell sits at the top of the user menu (your name at the bottom of the sidebar; a dot on your picture means something is unread), and in the top bar on a phone. It counts what happened while you were away and lists it newest first: a post was published (with the link to it), publishing failed with the reason, a post went out on schedule, a channel needs reconnecting or was connected, a schedule asked for new posts or failed, and a plan change. Changes you make yourself are not in it.

New rows carry a dot. Closing the list marks everything read; Mark all as read does it at once. The mark is kept in this browser, per workspace. A row opens the post, the channel or the collection's schedules. The list updates as events arrive, without a reload.

Export the log

Click Export and choose JSONL (one JSON event per line, the full event shape) or CSV (opens in a spreadsheet). The file contains the events that match your current filters (or all events when no filter is set), oldest first. To download the whole log, use Settings → Data & privacy. See Settings.

Why events can't be changed

Events cannot be edited: a database trigger forbids updates. They are the same records that webhooks deliver, so what you see here is exactly what your automations received. The only way to remove events is to purge a post (which erases every event about it; see Data export) or server-side retention.

API

# what one API key did on 20 October 2026 (from inclusive, to exclusive)
curl -s -H "Authorization: Bearer $STAQLY_API_KEY" "http://localhost:3333/v1/events?actor_id=key_ozcbqlxbqgyp3qnkbgjr&from=2026-10-20T00:00:00Z&to=2026-10-21T00:00:00Z"

# one schedule's runs
curl -s -H "Authorization: Bearer $STAQLY_API_KEY" "http://localhost:3333/v1/events?schedule_id=sch_5k2nq8rx7bvm3dz4hcye"

GET /v1/events accepts type, type_prefix (a literal prefix such as post. or webhook.), actor_type, actor_id, agent (an agent name such as claude-code), collection_id, post_id, channel_id, schedule_id, from (inclusive) and to (exclusive), with cursor pagination. GET /v1/events/export takes the same filters plus format=ndjson|csv. See Event types.
