Agents

See every agent that talks to your workspace, how it connects, when it was last active and how many posts it added.

Edit on GitHub

The Agents & activity tab of Integrations lists everything that has talked to this workspace, most recently active first, in two groups: Agents (MCP clients) and API connections (REST clients such as n8n, SDK scripts or curl). Click one to narrow Recent activity below it to that agent's events (each event records its agent; GET /v1/events?agent=claude-code does the same through the API). Staqly records them on its own; there is nothing to register:

  • an MCP client by the name it gives when it connects (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor...);
  • an API client by its User-Agent. With the SDKs, pass your agent's name (user_agent="my-agent/1.2" in Python, userAgent: 'my-agent/1.2' in TypeScript) and it shows up as my-agent; n8n, curl and other tools show up under their own name.

A post saved over REST without a source gets the client's name as its source (my-agent, n8n, curl), so the post says who wrote it; MCP create_post uses mcp: and the API key's name (in Staqly Community Edition, your name), the dashboard uses dashboard, and a schedule that fetched posts uses schedule:<name>.

Each agent is listed per credential: the API key it uses, or in the Community Edition the access token that every local agent shares. A green dot means it talked to the workspace in the last 2 minutes, amber today, grey earlier. You also see how many posts it added and how many requests it made (written at most once a minute).

People signed in to the dashboard are not agents and are not listed. The list needs admin (it names API keys) and keeps up to 200 agents. The bin icon removes an agent from the list; it comes back the next time it calls. Agents and API connections not seen for 30 days are removed automatically (RETENTION_AGENTS_DAYS, 0 keeps them forever; see Retention). The list comes from GET /v1/agents.
