Posts

Browse every post by collection, write and edit posts in the composer, customize them per channel and follow each channel's result.

Edit on GitHub

Posts is where the content lives. The page has two panes: the collections on the left, the open collection's posts on the right. Open it from Posts in the sidebar (or the phone tab bar) or the command palette (⌘ K). Old bookmarks to /collections land here.

The left pane lists every collection with its colour dot and post count; the open one is highlighted. New at the top creates a collection, Show archived at the bottom includes archived ones. The header of the right pane names the collection, with Settings (see Collections) and New post. On a phone the pane becomes a strip of chips over the posts.

Write a post

Open the composer

Click New post. The composer opens as a drawer: the channels, tags and collection on top, the editor under them, and the time and the buttons in the footer.

Fill it in

PartNotes
ChannelsPick where the post goes: a list of every connected channel with its avatar, platform and handle (under its group's name when there are several groups). Disabled channels and channels that need reconnecting are listed but can't be picked.
TagsOptional, to find and filter posts later.
CollectionNew posts only; the open collection is preselected.
Text forWith two channels or more: All channels holds the text every channel shares; one more tab per picked channel gives that channel a text of its own (Use the shared text goes back).
EditorA rich text editor: bold and italic become Unicode letters, lists become lines with a bullet, so the post stays plain text that every platform shows the same. Insert media uploads pictures and videos; From library picks files already in Media (files in Deleted can't be added: restore them first). Under the text, one character counter per picked channel shows the platform's limit and turns red when the text is too long. A channel that removes links or shows them as plain text (X) gets a red line naming it and the links it found, and its count is of the text it will receive.
Add commentUnder the text: each comment is a reply published under the post after it (a thread), with its own text, media and a wait after the one before (up to 25 comments, each up to a day later). Platforms that take replies (X) publish them; your own automation receives them with the post.
Settings tabNext to Post when a picked channel's platform has options: one folded card per channel with the platform's settings, such as who can reply or a community on X.
FooterThe time chip (with × to clear it), Save draft, and Schedule (with a time) or Publish now (without). The calendar button next to it (Schedule for later) picks the day and time (presets such as Tomorrow 09:00; times are in the browser's time zone) and Repeat (every day to every month: once published, the post is scheduled again that much later). Leave the time empty for a draft, or for a post a schedule will pick.

Save, schedule or publish

Save draft keeps it; Schedule (with a time) or Publish now (without) sends it out. A scheduled post needs at least one channel; the composer says Pick a time in the future when the time has passed.

Closing the composer with changes you haven't saved (Esc or ×) asks Discard your changes? first.

A repeating post shows its next occurrence on the calendar as soon as it is published. To stop it, open that next copy and set Repeat to Don't repeat, or delete it. See Repeating posts.

Agents and scripts create posts the same way: MCP create_post, POST /v1/posts, the CLI staqly posts create or an SDK. See Concepts.

The list

Posts are listed newest first. On a wide screen each row has columns: the post (its first line and the start of the rest), the status, when it goes out or went out (a dash for a draft), its channels, when and by whom it was created (a person, or the API key of an agent or automation), and the open comments from a preview. Narrow screens keep the title, the time under it and the status. Load more at the end loads the next page.

Filter next to New post holds Search posts (words of the content), status, channel and tag; the filters in use show as chips under the title, each with × to take it off, and Clear all resets them.

Each row has its actions on the right: Preview and feedback, Duplicate and Delete (on hover; always on touch screens), and a menu with Edit, Publish now (with the same seconds-long Undo as in the post), Cancel schedule, Open on a platform, Statistics and Copy link.

Many posts at once

Tick a row's checkbox (it appears on hover, or replaces the channel avatars on a narrow screen); Shift+click ticks the range up to it, Cmd/Ctrl+A ticks every loaded post and Esc clears. A bar at the bottom acts on all of them: Duplicate, Move to another collection, Tags (add or remove), Cancel schedule and Delete (after a confirmation; published posts are removed from Staqly only, what went out stays on the platforms). Posts an action doesn't apply to (a published post can't move or change tags; only scheduled ones come off the schedule) are skipped, and the message says how many. The API does the same with POST /v1/posts/delete, MCP with delete_posts.

StatusMeaning
DraftNot scheduled. A schedule with The next waiting post picks drafts in creation order.
ScheduledHas a time and at least one channel; it publishes then.
PublishingIts channels are being published, or your own automation is working on it.
PublishedEvery channel confirmed.
FailedAt least one channel failed; the others may have gone out.

The post

Click a post to open it in the composer: the status badge, the collection and the time in the header, a row of icons next to them (hover for their names), and the sections Post, Settings (when a channel has platform options), Delivery (once it was sent off) and Statistics (once something is published):

IconDoes
Globe, Open postOpens the published post on its platform; with several channels, a menu picks one. Shown once something is published
Eye, Preview and feedbackA link to a read-only preview anyone can comment on, and the comments people left (the badge counts them). See Share a preview
Copy, DuplicateA new draft with the same content, media, per-channel texts and settings, tags and comments, without its time; it opens straight away
Trash, DeleteAsks first. A published post is removed from Staqly only: what went out stays on the platforms

A direct link such as /posts/post_oalirbz67y4m4cqxq5dw opens the same view.

Delivery lists every target with its own status: a published target links to the post on the platform; a failed one shows the platform's error and a Retry button that retries that channel alone; a target on your own automation shows how long it has waited of the collection's limit while Publishing.

A draft or scheduled post is edited in place; the footer has Save changes (and Publish now) once it is scheduled. Editing a scheduled post keeps its time. A post that is publishing or published is read-only: Duplicate copies its content, media, tags, metadata and channels into a new draft.

Numbers

Statistics (in the post, or Statistics in a row's menu) reads each published channel's numbers from its platform when the last ones are older than ten minutes, and Refresh reads them now. Each channel shows when its numbers were read.

PlatformNumbers
XViews, likes, reposts, replies, quotes and bookmarks of the post (public metrics; no reconnecting needed)
Your own automationWhat your automation sends with PUT /v1/posts/{id}/targets/{channel}/metrics (or the MCP tool report_post_metrics)
OthersNot available for this platform for now

If a platform can't be reached, the last numbers stay and the channel says why.

Delete removes the post and keeps its events in the activity log. Erasing the history too, with media no other post uses, is a purge over the API (POST /v1/posts/{id}/purge, admin). See Data export & privacy.

On a phone

The collections pane becomes a chip strip, the list becomes cards, the composer and the post sheet fill the screen with their buttons inline. See Phones & tablets.
