Your notifications
Get an email when your post is published or fails, when a reviewer leaves feedback, when a channel needs reconnecting or a schedule runs out of posts, and choose what shows in the bell.
In a cloud account every person decides what Staqly tells them about. Settings → Account → Notifications lists each event with two switches: Email (to the address you sign in with) and Bell (the notifications in the dashboard's user menu). Save once for the whole card.
| Event | Who gets it | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Post published | the post's author, and everyone who follows every post | email and bell on |
| Post failed to publish | the post's author, and everyone who follows every post | email and bell on |
| Feedback on a preview | the post's author, and everyone who follows every post | email and bell on |
| Channel needs reconnecting | owners and admins | email and bell on |
| Schedule out of posts | owners and admins | email and bell on |
| Someone joined | owners and admins (not the person who joined) | email and bell on |
Posts to tell me about picks between My posts (the default) and Every post in my workspaces (editors, admins and owners). A post's author is the person who created it; a post an API key or an agent created belongs to the person who made that key, so your agent's posts reach you as "my posts". Posts from a schedule's endpoint have no author and reach only the people who follow every post.
The emails
One email per post and person, whatever the number of channels: Your post was published on X
and My publisher with the post's first line, a row per channel with Open on X links, and View
post in the dashboard. Publishing failed on X shows each channel's error. Every email ends
with Change notification preferences and Unsubscribe from these emails: the link turns
off that one kind of email at once, without signing in. Mail clients that offer a one-click
unsubscribe button use the same link (List-Unsubscribe).
These notifications are part of Staqly Cloud. Staqly Community Edition has no accounts: use an email alert there.
Notifications and alerts
These settings are yours: they follow you across the workspaces you're in. An alert belongs to the workspace: it sends every matching event to one place (a team chat, an ntfy topic, a shared inbox) for everyone who reads it. Use both: alerts for the team's channel, your notifications for what you personally care about.
API
GET /v1/account/notifications and PUT /v1/account/notifications (a signed-in person, not an
API key) read and change the choices; POST /v1/notifications/unsubscribe is what the email's
link calls. See the API reference.
