Getting started
The welcome wizard that takes a new account from its first sign-in to its first post, once.
Right after you create an account, Staqly opens a short welcome on its own page, without the sidebar. It takes about a minute, every step after the first can wait, and Skip for now (top right) ends it at any point.
The steps
| Step | What you do |
|---|---|
| Welcome to Staqly | Say what Staqly should call you (shown in the sidebar and to your team) and what brings you here: posting as a creator, running a team, or automating with agents. |
| Name your workspace | Most people use their brand or client. You can rename it later in Settings. |
| Connect your first channel | The platform grid, right there. Platforms that sign in on their own page (X and the other OAuth platforms) bring you back to this step; Your own automation needs only a name. I'll do it later moves on. |
| Connect an agent or Invite your team | Which one comes first follows your answer in the first step; the other is a link away. For an agent, copy the one-line command for Claude Code or Codex; in the cloud, Create a key for it makes an API key that can write and publish posts and puts it into the command (shown only then). Invitations take several addresses at once and a role. |
| You are all set | A short summary, then Go to the calendar or Write your first post. |
People who join through an invitation see a shorter version: their name, the workspace they joined and what their role lets them do.
When it shows
- Cloud: once per person, right after the first sign-in of a new account or an accepted invitation. Finishing or skipping it ends it for good; it is stored with the person, so it doesn't come back on another device.
- Staqly Community Edition: never. The Community Edition has one workspace and no team to invite, so its empty pages (Schedule, Posts, Channels) guide you instead.
- It opens only from the dashboard's home (the calendar). A link to a post, a preview or Settings opens what it points to.
- Getting started in the user menu (bottom left, cloud only) opens it again whenever you like.
Over the API, GET /v1/session reports onboarded, and POST /v1/session/onboarded (from the
dashboard) finishes it; see the API reference.
