Collections

Group posts into collections, give each one a colour and a processing timeout, manage its schedules and archive or delete it.

Edit on GitHub

A collection is a named group of posts with its own schedules, like a folder with a calendar: Product updates, Instagram Avatar, Weekly digest. Use collections to keep each project's or agent's posts together and to give them a rhythm. See Concepts for how collections, posts and schedules fit together.

Collections live in the left pane of Posts: every collection with its colour dot and post count, New at the top, Show archived at the bottom. Click one to see its posts; Settings in the header opens its settings.

Create a collection

Open the drawer

Click New at the top of the collections pane, or use the command palette (⌘ K). The form opens in a drawer: the header stays put, the fields scroll, Cancel and Create collection sit at the bottom.

Name it

Give it a Name (required, marked with *, up to 100 characters), an optional Description (up to 2,000 characters), Fail publishing if nothing is reported within (how long a post on your own automation may wait for a result; Default names the server's value) and a Colour. Names are unique within the workspace, so agents can refer to a collection by name: create_post with collection: "Product updates" just works. If a field is invalid, it turns red and the message appears under it.

Add schedules later

A new collection has no schedules; add them in its settings (see below).

Agents can create collections too. Ask "Create a collection called Weekly digest" and the agent uses the create_collection MCP tool or POST /v1/collections.

Colours

The colour shows as a dot in the collections pane and as the left bar of calendar chips. Pick one of eight colours (green #22c55e, blue #3b82f6, violet #8b5cf6, pink #ec4899, red #ef4444, orange #f97316, yellow #eab308, teal #14b8a6), No colour, or the rainbow swatch, Custom colour: a picker with a saturation and brightness square, a hue slider, a hex field such as #1e3a8a and a preview. Agents and scripts can set any hex colour through the API ("color": "#3b82f6").

Collection settings

Click Settings in the collection's header. The drawer has three sections; one Save changes in its footer saves them together:

SectionWhat you can do
GeneralChange the name (required), description, Fail publishing if nothing is reported within (1 minute to 24 hours, or Default) and the colour.
Schedules (folded)The collection's schedules, each with an on/off switch, Run now, Edit and Delete; New schedule opens the schedule drawer. See Schedules.
Danger zone (folded)Archive collection hides it from the pane (unless Show archived is on) and stops new posts: It is hidden from the list and takes no new posts. Unarchive collection brings it back. Delete collection permanently deletes the collection with its posts and schedules; you confirm by typing its name.

The Default collection has no Danger zone: it can be renamed, but not archived or deleted.

A collection's icon can be set through the API (PATCH /v1/collections/{id}), not in this drawer.
